Also in this issue you will find more good news, photos from Atlas Gala, real estate, hiring, events, promotions, and a blog article on Tapori.
This May, the H Street community proudly celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month—a time to honor the contributions, creativity, and culture of AAPI communities across the nation. And here on H Street, we have something truly special: an embarrassment of culinary riches thanks to our vibrant array of AAPI-owned restaurants.
From Michelin-recognized favorites to bold new arrivals, H Street is one of the most delicious places in the city to celebrate AAPI heritage. Whether you're craving spicy dumplings, inventive sushi, or a twist on Thai street food, our corridor has you covered.

Celebrate the Culture
AAPI Heritage Month isn’t just about food (though we won’t blame you if it is). It's about recognizing the incredible stories, traditions, and talents that have helped shape H Street’s identity. From entrepreneurship to artistry, the AAPI community has made—and continues to make—H Street one of the most dynamic and diverse neighborhoods in the city.
Join us in celebrating the flavors, faces, and families behind the storefronts. Let’s uplift our neighbors and honor their impact—not just in May, but all year long.
