H Street Heroes Shine at Community Cleanup
This month’s H Street cleanup was nothing short of inspiring, as 25 dedicated volunteers, including families with children as young as one month old, gathered to beautify our neighborhood. Together, we collected approximately 20 bags of trash, making a visible difference in our community’s appearance and spirit.
Representatives from local businesses and organizations, including St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Fresca Taqueria, and Little Grand, joined forces in this communal effort. Their participation not only amplified the impact of the cleanup but also strengthened the bonds within our community.
The youngest of our volunteers showed that everyone, no matter how small, can contribute to making our environment cleaner and safer. It was heartening to see people from different walks of life unite with a common purpose.
A special thanks goes to Irregardless, who hosted the event and provided refreshing coffee, keeping everyone energized and motivated throughout the morning.
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce that our next cleanup will take place on Saturday, July 27, at SWEAT DC.
Thank you, H Street Heroes, for your hard work and commitment. Let’s keep this momentum going and continue to show that our community cares deeply about its environment and each other.
